ROUTE OF CARNIVAL SUBMARINE NETWORKS - 1 & 2

The CSN-1 system will consist of two segments: the main trunk of 4,500 km will connect Naples (Florida, USA), Playa Diablillo (Panama), Costa del Este (Panama), and Anconcito (Ecuador). It will have between 12 and 17 fiber pairs from the Naples area in US to Costa del Este, and eight fiber pairs from Costa del Este to Anconcito, each with a design capacity of approximately 20 Tbps using current technology.

The Colombia Branch of 525 kilometers will connect Salgar/Barranquilla (Colombia) with a branch on the main trunk. It will have four fiber pairs, each with a design capacity of approximately 20 Tbps using current technology.

The CSN-2 cable system will be approximately 1,700km long, linking Veracruz in Mexico to the Apalachee Beach zone in northern Florida.

About Us

TELCONET LATAM
At Telconet Group, our Vision is to integrate Ecuador into the world through the early adoption of the most advanced IT and telecommunications technologies. We strive for excellence by anticipating future trends and the needs of our communities and clients. In 2002 Telconet Latam built the largest Fiber Optic Network and in 2012 the first Tier III and Tier IV Data Centers in Ecuador.

CARNIVAL SUBMARINE NETWORKS -1
In 2015, we ensured availability and diversity in the country's submarine connectivity with the deployment of the PCSS Submarine Cable. In 2016, we secured the provision of fiber optic cable for our network deployment by building the largest factory of fiber optic cable in South America, which now operates at full capacity and exports to several countries in the Americas and Europe. In 2017, we expanded our operation to other countries, and in 2020 we were among the first operators in the world to incorporate NVIDIA technology.

In 2022, we began the deployment of the CSN-1 Submarine Cable, a project designed to meet the future needs of international connectivity and redundancy for our clients in Ecuador, significantly expanding the international outbound capacity for countries such as Panama and Colombia, with a state-of-the-art multi-fiber submarine cable.

We believe that future results will once again be the reward for our trust in Ecuador and the region and for all the challenges we have undertaken.

CARNIVAL SUBMARINE NETWORKS-2
Telconet will develop a new submarine cable between Veracruz, Mexico, and the Apalachee Beach area in northern Florida, USA. The deployment of the CSN-2 will occur alongside the extension of the CSN-1 to Cancún, from the BU reserved for such purposes
