Telconet Latam, a leader in telecommunications infrastructure in Latin America, announces the construction of the CSN-2 interconnection system, which will connect Veracruz, Mexico, with Apalachee Beach, in northern Florida, USA. This new system will serve as an extension of the CSN-1 system currently under development, consolidating an advanced connectivity network in the region.
Telconet and Alcatel Submarine Networks have agreed that the Main Vessel Vessel for the CSN-1 will be the Ile de Sein. The loading of the CSN-1 will begin early May 2025.
PROPANAMA authorities met with José Hernández, Project Manager, and Carlos Pazmiño, Project Leader of Telconet, an Ecuadorian company, to discuss important advances in the installation of submarine cables that would cross the isthmus.
