Pedro will lead our Business Development efforts. He will collaborate with key market stakeholders to facilitate access to the high-speed, scalable connectivity provided by CSN-1 across Panama, Colombia, and Ecuador, while also driving the expansion into new geographical areas beyond the initial phase.

With a career in the Latin American telecommunications industry that began in 2000, when the first privately-owned submarine cables began to operate. As both an executive and entrepreneur, he has held various strategic roles in Sales, Business Development, Strategic Planning, Pricing, and Management and Investment Control, all related to submarine cables deployment.

In March 2022, Telconet signed a contract with Alcatel Submarine Networks for the deployment of CSN-1, marking a significant investment in renewing the submarine infrastructure that connects the Caribbean and Ecuador, many of which date back to the early 2000s.

During this period, we have achieved critical milestones, including the preliminary survey, land acquisition at landing sites, commencement of landing station construction, submarine cable and repeater manufacturing, and obtaining the necessary deployment and operation permits in multiple countries, including the recent FCC license from the United States. We are committed to completing the remaining phases on schedule.
